    Bank of America is both predatory and an unethical institution. They have only one agenda, to target the exact people they are supposedly trying to help. There is not an incentive for them to preform modifications because if you have PMI and you have made payments on your home for several years it is in their best interest to foreclose on the home so they actually are making more money than if they were to reduce your interest rate.     I spoke with B of A Property Claim Services regarding endorsement on claims check to repair hail damages to my home in Mississippi. The representative from B of A was very polite, friendly, helpful and professional. She located my documents and confirmed that the check was returned via U.S. Postal service within the past 3 days and should arrive by end of the week.   • BOA complicit with fraudulent tanning company



    Bank of America needs to change its policy where a wronged person must provide all evidence while the perpetrator does not to show evidence. We bought a kit from spraytan LA in October 2912. There was a verbal phone agreement for an item for sale on craig's list. If the sale was agreed to on the spot the item would cost $1000. less. There was no email sent to buyer confirming the sale.     Absolutely the worst service I have ever had by any business anywhere. 1. Asked for my same debit card number and was told that was possible and then received a new debit card with a different number. When I tried to call any number anywhere that had to do with customer service, I was connected to my account information. Ridiculously hard to get an actual person on the phone.     We are trying to purchase a short sale home through Bank of America. We had to move out of our home on Jan. 1st and put a bid in on the home in question the same day. The owners accepted the bid and we were told that the bank was working with them and we should hear something soon.     I am extremely satisfied with the timely response from Bank of America. About 24 hours ago, I put in a complaint pertaining to their assets department. Less than 12 hours after posting my complaint, I got a very informative response. There was a misinterpretation on the agents behalf, but Bank of America informed me that the property was not going up for auction and that our offer had been accepted.   • Bank of America unethical practices by assets mortgage department



    On February 15, 2013 an assets manager for Bank Of America called my husband and told him that they were not going to put the house we were interested in for auction. She went on to tell him that we just had to amend our last offer and that they would take the asking price.     I call bank of american customer service today regarding my credit card. I had to pay something with credit card by today, so yesterday, I went to my bank of america account to transfer fund directly to my credit card so I could use fund right away.     i was calling for get my online ID back. the first time i wait 20-30 minutes, but it was good, the guy helped me nicely, and everything i provided was right my address, date of birth. i am appreciate.     Bank of America is the most shameful company I have dealt with. Since October 2012 I have been fighting with bank of america to return my insurance check to repair my property.   • Short Sales with B of A are a nightmare



    I am a realtor that work with several banks. But I have heard from everyone in the industry that B of A is the hardest company to work with regarding getting a resolution. I worked two files with B of A and they took almost one year to clear. The bank ask you to follow the agent resource center but, I think they need to review the process themselves.     This institution has probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Not only do the employees lack the ability to solve problems, when you finally are able to speak to a supervisor you are spoken to very rudely and given no solution.     I cashed a refund check mailed to me by a multimillion dollar communications company. The check was returned as canceled.     I'm appalled at the utter incompetency of this major institution. Over one year ago I contacted Bank of America to discuss modification of my mortgage after my divorce.     Worse company EVER!!! I have been waiting for some funding from insurance claim due to hurricane. I had almost $20k in damages.     i was charged $50 for a wire transfer when I did it online. It does not stated that there is a fee for the wire transfer. it just state "null" I took "null" and meaning nothing void, non-existent. It lists the ACH fees for 3 days and 7-days, but just says "null" for the same day wire. I do not think it is fair I was charged a total of $50.     I keep hearing about so many people that let/lost their houses in foreclosure and they received assistance.     If you like a credit card that isn't worth the piece of plastic then this is the credit card for you. The card only worked 4 or 5 times in the few months I owned it.     We are extremely unhappy with the business tools service online. Their secure ID Code has been down for 3 days and as a result we are unable to send any wires out or add any new vendors. Since we were relying on their business tools, we have such a big issue with our customers now. Their customer service tells us that it will take another week to resolve this issue.     I had originally dealt with one woman back in June 2012. Our info was turned over to a second woman. would love to name names but I won't.     Instead of going to an ATM to withdraw money, I prefer going to the teller because I am willing to wait in line and request for somewhat new bills rather than old ones. The teller, Fernando, completely ignored my request and just gave me old bills.     I deposit a check through the ATM on Sat. 8/11/2012 in the amount of $604.00. I went to the ATM on Wed. 8/15/2012 to find out they have a hold on $304.00 in my account that is so crazy like this check was $5,000.00. Much of the same story with me. Ever notice how the bill you get from Bank of America has a special postmark that isn't dated.....
payments are posted usually one day late. caught them with a posted date that was a Sunday and had previously asked them if they worked on Sundays. They said no!
No way for customers to track when they actually get the bill and it's posted. So they can do whatever they want. No wonder they have billions of dollars in profits in the last couple months. They are nothing but a scam with these late charges everyone is getting.

2years ago a credit card company i used was bought by BoA, they changed the way payments were credited, I was marked late due to their errors. Then my business card (MBNA) was bought by them, again a disaster, online banking was changed so they pulled funds from my business acct to pay my personal acct instead of my business cards resulting in a huge credit on personal, and no payment for business acct. (also at issue conmingling funds) This took 4 months to straighten out, I received multiple calls weekly on the two credit cards, had to explain each & every time their error. Now, BoA bought LaSalle, again a disaster. Home Equity line this time, not crediting my payments and then charging interest plus fees on the unpaid amount. This time each call has been made on my behalf by the local branch. I have been promised copies & explanations of the amounts billed, none have yet been mailed to me. In going over my records, I am 3 months in advance of payments due, yet they are charging interest because LaSalle handled payments differently than they do. NEVER DEAL WITH BANK OF AMERICA!!!!! I have switched to Chase & am very happy with both my personal and business bankers.

IN 2003 I HAD MBNA CREDIT CARD I ALSOHAD MY DAUGHTER ON IT AS AN AUTHORIZED USER. I DECEDIDED TO HAVE HER REMOVEDAND NOTIFED MBNA.FEW MONTHS LATER I RECEIVEABILLIN THE MAIL FOR $16,000
AND I DIDN'TEVEN HAVE A PIN NUMBER. I WAS TOLD THAT IWAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE CHARGES.
