  • Bank of America Customer Service

My Bank of America credit card provides me with my credit score. Everything was OK until 3 months ago, when the information they show turned completely wrong. I've contacted TransUnion, but that was a complete waist of time - no wonder they have 1 star on all of their Customer Reviews - so, I filed an official complaint with a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and went to Bank of America. First, a girl on the local brunch tried to just get rid of me telling me things not even related to my issue. Second, I was given a phone number and told to call this number and file a complaint.... • Bad customer service

This branch is really bad. Poor training and service. I have been a bank customer for many years, and maintain large personal and business account balances. Started using this branch when a closer one closed. The service is bad, may be because in moderate income neighborhood. Last week they really got me upset and since I am still upset, I decided to complain. I need to deposit a third party check. The bank refused and acted like it was illegal. The bank did not even look at my account history, the check was a small fraction of collected balances. Ugg. And hassle. I ended up... More...

Bank of America SUCKS! These institution committed FRAUD, PLAIN AND SIMPLE! They deliberately MISLEAD folks, that the only way you are going to a Loan Modfication, is if you are late on your mortgage payments. And after all the BS that they have put my Husband and myself through the only way to make this right is to call off your attorneys who are breathing down our necks,... • Wire Transfer Problem

My son has a business, and he had some unexpected expenses crop up, so he asked if we would do a same-day outside-the-bank transfer to cover him for a few days. At 2:36 p.m. on Friday, I did the online transfer. Both he and I received e-mails that the transfer was pending, but the money was not sent by Saturday morning, so I called B of A customer service. After giving numerous proofs of identity, I was told I needed a different department. That happened again, until I got to the third person, who asked 10-12 ID questions of both me and my husband, but still couldn't give us an answer!... More...

  • associates not truthful in account closures dept.

I recently received a Bank of America Account Closure letter, when I called the 800 number to request more information about the closure the first associate I talked to told me that a different account was being closed than the letter said, I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told (It was a Saturday) that all the supervisors were in a meeting and I would have to request that they call me back. I gave my information and called them back in 30 minutes. The second associate (Rosie) told me that the supervisor was on the phone with another customer and I would have to put in a request to... • Bank of America Charges $50 to Close Fraud Victim Accounts

Five years ago, I was the victim of bank account fraud. I worked with Bank of America to resolve the situation and correct my accounts. Now, five years later they decided to close my accounts based only on this fraud incident and charge me a $50 fee to do so. In 2005, my Bank of America checking account was breached. I live in Seattle, WA and discovered a withdrawal from my account in Alabama. I immediately contacted Bank of America that told me my mailing address was changed in their system to an Alabama address. Apparently, someone was able to contact Bank of America, convince them...
